Florida Republican gubernatorial nominee Byron Donalds has removed at least eight prominent Trump references from his campaign homepage, including the “Trump-endorsed” branding and a section that previously listed enacting the Trump agenda as his top priority. Donalds says the redesign had been planned since around the primary and does not change his support for Trump, while his updated campaign now puts affordability at the top of its agenda. The change comes as a September 17-20 Reuters/Ipsos poll put Trump’s overall approval at 32%, with just 17% approving of his handling of the cost of living. Ring of Fire's Josh G. explains.
