Republican Sen. John Curtis is asking the Senate Judiciary Committee to subpoena both Donald Trump Jr. and Hunter Biden over foreign business relationships, gifts and whether their connections to a president created private financial value or access. The request follows ProPublica reporting that Russian businessman Umar Kremlev, who has ties to Vladimir Putin, paid for major portions of Trump Jr.’s Bahamas wedding celebrations. Republican Sens. John Cornyn and Thom Tillis have also expressed support for an inquiry, while Democratic ranking member Dick Durbin says he supports Curtis’ request as well. Ring of Frire's Josh G. explains.
