The Resident Evil franchise has to be one of the most legendary video games to have ever come out. Ever since the first game debuted in 1996, I have been hooked to these games even as they changed from a survival horror to a more action-oriented style and back again to their roots more recently. Naturally with such success, it would draw the attention of Hollywood and for once, a live-action video game movie would not totally suck. In fact, I’d argue the first Resident Evil movie is a certified banger, even if the following sequels lose their way somewhat. Now, after nearly nine years of not having gotten another live-action film, this year saw the franchise finally returning to the big screen and with it came a host of monsters and creatures both new and old. #ResidentEvil #RaccoonCityOutbreak #Nemesis #umbrellacorporation
