Netflix’s take on Unabomber explores the notorious rise and fall of Ted Kaczynski across two separate timelines in order to weave the infamous criminal’s past into the investigation that finally put an end to his 17 year long campaign of terror! However, after reading up on the man’s real life history, I realized just how much of the story in the film has been overly dramatized. I mean we all know Netflix has that habit to rake up the views and the impact but you should know that the real Ted Kaczynski was a strange man and over time, various segments of his writing have been embraced by different countercultural, fringe, and outsider communities, especially when it comes to his criticism of technology and what he saw as growing government interference with individual freedoms. #Unabomber #TedKaczynski #TrueCrime #Netflix #truestory
