New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) praised actor and comedian Ramy Youssef's portrayal of him during the season premiere of Saturday Night Live. "I think it's always something to be celebrated if the fact of our focus of $21 billion to create 12,000 new homes in Sunnyside Yard is given a national audience as it was," he said of the cold open sketch depicting his meeting with President Trump at Gracie Mansion. "I think Ramy does a great job." #mamdani #zohran #nyc #snl #youssef #cspan
