Well well well, seems like we are just one more week away from the Lanterns season finale and I would be lying if I did not agree with how amazing of a job the penultimate episode did at setting up all the pieces on the board for an extraordinarily exciting finale. The Jordan boys’ legacy focused less on the action and put in more time to explore a character driven narrative by skirting around the tragic parts of Hal Jordan’s childhood. We also get to see a different side of Hal that existed decades prior to the world around him going to hell and turning him into a reckless cynic. Even if we live vicariously through Hal’s backup consciousness that was stored in his Power ring in the form of a Halogram, watching him solve the real Hal’s murder with John was a dynamic we had ached to see since the very beginning. #Lanterns #LanternsHBO #LanternsEpisode7 #dcstudios
