President Donald Trump says he and top AI executives have agreed to a voluntary accord focused on internal and external reviews of artificial intelligence. Trump said the new AI document signed by him and leading tech executives is “almost like a Constitution” and “morally binding.” Speaking after a White House meeting with leaders including Elon Musk, Jensen Huang, Sundar Pichai, Mark Zuckerberg, Satya Nadella, Dario Amodei and Greg Brockman, Trump backed industry self-regulation while rejecting calls for new AI-specific restrictions. Trump also addressed AI safety, data centers, U.S.-China competition and America’s push to lead the global AI race. ► Subscribe to The Economic Times for the latest video updates.
