Netflix’s Unabomber actually took a lot of liberties with Ted Kaczynski’s notorious history and while it is a film loosely inspired by the real events, it seems like a lot of the movie’s framework considers his Harvard days to be the reason why he became the Unabomber! Of course the part where he goes to Harvard at a young age and unknowingly participates in Henry Murray’s experiments are all true but the details of that event has been twisted in a way that sort of makes Murray’s experimentation on Ted the main catalyst for him turning evil. However, In real life, Kaczynski carried out his bombing campaign across the US between 1978 and 1995, killing three people and injuring 23 others. After a nearly two- decade- long manhunt, the FBI finally captured him. #HenryMurray #TedKaczynski #Unabomber #truecrimecommunity
