An exclusive Ipsos poll for Global News shows support for the B.C. Conservatives at 42 per cent, putting the party two points ahead of the B.C. NDP at 40 per cent. The results mark a significant change from polling conducted just two weeks earlier, and suggest the provincial election race has tightened considerably. Ipsos Senior Vice-President Kyle Braid says the political landscape has shifted following leadership changes within the B.C. Conservatives. The poll also found cost of living, health care and housing remain the top issues for voters, while half of British Columbians surveyed said they disapprove of having an election now.
