I have been a fan of Jordan Peele ever since Key & Peele. And to think that someone who was such a natural at comedy ended up giving us some of the best horror movies is insane, dude! Peele broke through as a filmmaker with Get Out in 2017, and for a horror movie to score ninety-eight percent on Rotten Tomatoes is a pretty big deal. Jordan kept up that reputation with his next directorial efforts, namely Us and Nope, while also working on several other movies, including the 2018 BlacKkKlansman and the 2021 Candyman. But as far as his directing career is concerned, a fourth movie has been teased for a long time, and nothing has yet materialized. Yes, Nope did suffer a delay because of the pandemic, which was pretty much inevitable at the time. But what is actually holding back his next movie?
