Lanterns season 1 wrapped up the story of Hal Jordan and John Stewart’s unconventional dynamic by giving us an emotionally cathartic ending that was exceptionally grounded, especially for a show that has become famous for adding a True Detective inspired noir edge to the DCU. Even if Lanterns did conclude the season pretty neatly by solving the Manhunter conspiracy along with a series of sketchy deaths through many timeline jumps, it still left us with a bunch of unanswered questions after unending the complete status quo for Earth in sector 2814. We now have more than enough room to keep the speculative threads spinning about what is in store for the future of Lanterns!
