Hayden Panettiere’s ex Wladimir Klitschko is doing what he can for his daughter. Less than two months after the ‘Nashville’ star died from an accidental overdose at the age of 36, the former professional boxer is paying $30,000 of his own money to cover her tax bill and prevent “unnecessary interest” and additional penalties, according to docs obtained by E! News. He noted he was doing so to avoid “direct financial detriment” for their daughter Kaya, 11, the sole heir of Panettiere’s estate. In the docs, Klitschko said he believes the late actress’ 2025 individual state and federal tax returns are due on Oct. 15, and he plans to pay the sum out of his own pocket as no one has been appointed as the representative of Hayden’s estate at this time. The 50-year-old said he “will later seek reimbursement” from the estate once it is set up. E! News has reached out to reps for Panettiere and Klitschko but has not received a comment.
