Ever install a new floor mat and suddenly your door won’t open properly? That’s exactly what happened here. The vestibule mat was just high enough that the door kept catching every time it swung open. Instead of forcing it or removing the mat, I trimmed the bottom of the door using a Hilti track saw to get the exact clearance needed. Clean, straight cut with no tear-out, and now the door opens smoothly without touching the mat. Small adjustment, but it makes a big difference in how the space functions.
