Russia intensified strikes on Ukraine Thursday, bombing what President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described as a bus stop. At least 33 people were killed, and 18 others were injured when two buses were bombarded in the airstrike on Kramatorsk. The remains? The charred frames of the passenger vehicles and debris littered through the street of one of the Donbas Region’s largest cities. The local governor accused Moscow of deliberately targeting civilians in the attack, while Zelenskyy is demanding other nations help to shut down Russia’s “entire economy” by imposing sanctions on their arms. The UN denounced Russia’s latest attack on civilians, noting that since Wednesday, nearly 50 Ukrainians have been killed – including six children – and 170 others injured.
