Thousands of workers and students marched through Brussels on Friday against planned government budget cuts. The nationwide strike disrupted public transport and flights, while students raised concerns about rising education costs and overcrowded classrooms. “We’re struggling too, and we are the future of this country,” said Emilie L’Honneux, a 23-year-old student from Liege. Police said the main march was peaceful, but separate clashes led officers to use tear gas and water cannons.
