ICE agents shot and wounded Oscar Belgal during an arrest in New York City’s Marble Hill neighbourhood Thursday afternoon, with his 5 year old son in the back seat. The child was physically unharmed, but Mayor Zohran Mamdani called the shooting an “outrage” and said ICE “must be abolished.” ICE officials said Belgal struck two agency vehicles and drove toward officers, prompting them to open fire. Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin defended the operation, saying, “we will not stop doing our job.” For more info, please go to https://globalnews.ca/news/12097114/mamdani-trump-halt-ice/ Subscribe to Global News Channel HERE: http://bit.ly/20fcXDc Follow Global News on X HERE: http://bit.ly/1Toz8mt Follow Global News on TikTok HERE: https://www.tiktok.com/@globalnews.ca?lang=en #GlobalNews
