BBC Newsnight's Katie Razzall interviews Oscar-winning actor and producer Cate Blanchett alongside Syrian film-maker Hasan Kattan about Blanchett's Displacement Film Fund, which she created for filmmakers who've been forcibly displaced. Kattan's film, 'Allies in Exile', made with co-director Fadi Al Halabi, benefited from the Fund. 'Allies in Exile' is the story of the Syrian journalists' experiences documenting war and revolution - and what it's like to be forced from home. The film will be shown at London Film Festival Displacement Film Fund screening & from November 3rd on BBC Storyville on BBC4 & iPlayer. #newsnight #bbcnews #cateblanchett #katierazzall #hasankattan #displacementfilmfund #londonfilmfestival #alliesinexile
