Hurricane Isaias made landfall near Destin, Fla. Friday, bringing winds of about 169 km/h. More than 430,000 property owners statewide — and nearly 297,000 in Alabama — lost power as the Category 2 storm came ashore. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis warned continued rain could trigger flooding in already saturated communities, saying, “The flooding story is not over.” Search and rescue teams remained deployed as the storm weakened and moved inland.
