Hurricane Simon triggered heavy rain and floods along Mexico's west central Pacific Coast as the storm inched closer to shore on Sunday. The category 4 storm packed maximum winds at more than 230 kilometres per hour. Meanwhile, cleanup continues along the Florida panhandle and southern U.S. after Hurricane Isaias killed four people and left a trail of destruction. Downgraded to a post-tropical cyclone, Isaias triggered a flash flood in North Carolina and generated two tornadoes in Georgia. Heidi Petracek has the latest on the storms on both sides of North America.
