ABC News counted more than $6 billion in federal contracts awarded or promised to companies Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump invested in after their investments began. The Trump Organization calls the brothers passive minority investors, but Eric holds a chief strategy adviser title at one company, while Don Jr.’s investment firm owns stakes in businesses receiving major Pentagon support. No evidence cited here shows either brother personally steered a contract, which is exactly why Democrats have asked the Pentagon inspector general to examine the overlap.
