US President Donald Trump has doubled down on his decision to import oil from Russia, claiming the European Union has done the same. “The European Union paid Russia $250 billion for energy, and the fake news media doesn’t want to get near that story,” he said in a post on Truth Social. “I made the right choice for the American people.”
