MI5 Security Chief Sir Ken McCallum is warning the UK about rising threats from Russia, Iran, and AI. Mr McCallum said state threats have quadrupled over the last decade, forcing the country's secret service to spend more resources countering them than during the Cold War. He believes Iran is ramping up its attempts to hit harder targets such as military sites in Britain, while Russia is escalating its hybrid warfare. The MI5 boss also spoke about why the misuse of AI is a concern.
