Marvel popularised the concept of mid- and post-credit scenes setting up sequels, but long before that, more than four decades ago, there was this one movie that teased a huge sequel. Check this out: This was Conan the Barbarian, the 1982 movie, teasing Conan’s return with a story that would show how he became king. But you know what? But that wasn't the movie we got. The sequel to the 1982 movie was released a couple of years later, and even that one teased a future Conan movie where he gets his own kingdom. But the tragedy is that after the two Conan movies, Arnold Schwarzenegger never reprised his role as Conan in a live-action movie, let alone him playing the king. #ConanTheBarbarian #KingConan #Schwarzenegger #ConanLore
