What’s the most dangerous weapon? You might answer the hydrogen bomb, and while that’s probably the most lethal on a mass scale, it’s doubtful you’ll encounter one anytime soon. It’s more likely that a common handgun will negatively affect your life, making that weapon more dangerous. Perhaps, the most dangerous weapon, though, might soon be artificial intelligently enhanced propaganda. Specifically, malicious propaganda that will be enhanced or manufactured using A.I. and epistemically unjustified A.I. propaganda or propaganda used to promote an ideology that isn’t grounded in rationally or facts. Malicious propaganda, similar to the handgun, is an invention of man that can be weaponized. Now, it doesn’t inflict bodily harm, but it can inflict psychological damage and has been a significant catalyst for physical harm on a mass scale.
