Traffic Stop for a Lane Violation Leads to a HIDDEN Discovery

February 17, 2023, What began as a routine Arkansas police traffic stop quickly turned into a major police investigation. In this dash cam footage, an Arkansas State Trooper observed an RV drift onto the shoulder of Interstate 40. The occupants claimed the vehicle swerved because of the wind, but further investigation revealed something that didn't seem right. After a K9 free-air sniff alerted to the odor of narcotics, troopers conducted a vehicle search and discovered a hidden compartment concealed beneath the rear bedroom area of the RV. What they found inside led to felony charges and the end of a cross-country road trip. This dashcam video documents the entire encounter from the initial traffic stop through the vehicle search and ultimate discovery.
