Driver Sleeps in Running Jeep for 2 Hours... Then This Happened!

DECEMBER 17, 2025 – Officers responded to O'Reilly Auto Parts after employees reported a black Jeep Cherokee that had been parked outside and running for approximately two hours. Upon arrival, officers discovered a driver who appeared unable to stay conscious and repeatedly ignored commands to exit the vehicle. As officers attempted to communicate with him, the situation quickly escalated when the driver put the Jeep into reverse and backed into a patrol vehicle. After repeated attempts to gain compliance failed, officers were forced to break a window and remove the driver from the vehicle. During the investigation, officers located suspected methamphetamine, a knife, brass knuckles, cash, and other items inside the vehicle.
