Ingredients * 3 eggs * 4 tablespoons sugar (80 g) * 4 tablespoons sunflower oil (60 ml) * 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour (80 g) * 1 teaspoon baking powder (5 g) * 2 apples * 4 tablespoons oats * 1 apple * 1 tablespoon peach jam Baking * Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 40 minutes * Pan size: 8 inches (20 cm) --- Tips 1. Cut the apples into medium pieces, not too thin, so they stay juicy and don’t turn into purée while baking. 2. It’s best to choose sweet apples with a slight acidity — this gives a more balanced flavor. 3. If you want a cleaner look, peel the apples. 4. To prevent the apples from browning, sprinkle them with a few drops of lemon juice. 5. For extra aroma, you can add a pinch of cinnamon. 6. Line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper — trust me, it makes removing the cake much easier. I once skipped this step… and it was a disaster. 7. After baking, do not remove the cake immediately. Let it rest in the pan for 10–15 minutes before taking it out.
