The architecture of Saros is awesome. The gameplay loop, the visual design, the progression system, the internal lore of the planet, and the overarching threat are all great… and yet all of that is undermined, at its core, by a narrative that is a millennial-coded, therapy-language melodrama about a toxic ex-husband chasing his ex-wife to a hell-planet to win her back by embodying the stereotypical virtues of toxic masculinity.
