On July 28, 2026, Halo Campaign Evolved fully released worldwide. If you bought the premium editions, you got a few days' early access to Microsoft’s Unreal Engine 5 remake of Halo Combat Evolved, sold as the start of a new era for the franchise that built Xbox. Within the first 30 minutes of gameplay on the newly invented prologue missions, we hit a game breaking bug on stream that required we restart the entire game from the credits again. And if myself and Hypnoticc, friend of the channel, hitting this bug on stream wasn’t enough for you, Ohnotitsalexx hit the same bug on his own stream too. Across the internet, people have taken to posting clips featuring all the bugs that they’re experiencing with this game, across all platforms, with reports coming in that this Xbox game actually plays best on the Playstation 5 Pro. This is the 25th anniversary year of the Halo franchise, and here we find Microsoft’s attempts to celebrate that anniversary and also open the door for non-Halo fans
