Best method for bigger side delts

No, the side delts don’t “need more volume to grow”. This is just another myth that gets passed around with no real physiological basis behind it. My guess is that people believe it because lateral raises are a lighter single joint movement, so the body as a whole doesn't feel very taxed and it seems like more sets must be needed. But total body fatigue has nothing to do with what the side delts themselves require. People also tend to treat lateral raises as "pump work" and stop their sets very far from failure, then compensate by piling on more of them. But at the end of the day, there's no reason to treat the side delts differently than any other muscle. They respond to training in the same basic way, and if you’re pushing your sets close to failure with a focus on progression over time, they don’t magically require more volume, frequency or a ton of different exercise variations. At best it’s a waste of time and effort, and at worst it could be counterproductive if it pushes
