I really wish more people understood this before hopping on gear and thinking it's gonna fix all their problems. It's easy to believe that once your physique hits a certain level, you'll finally be "satisfied". Like there's some finish line where you look in the mirror and go "alright I made it, I'm good now". But the truth is that whatever level you reach, not just in bodybuilding but in any area, it's always cool for a short time but then your brain quickly adapts, it just becomes the new baseline and the target keeps moving with it. Add drugs into the equation though, and things get a lot messier because now your progress becomes dose-dependent. The only way to keep growing is to take more, and lowering the dose means going below the new baseline you've established for yourself. That muscle is moreso rented rather than owned, and what happens when you eventually have to come off and watch yourself regress so significantly? People talk about gear as if it's purely a physical decision
