Ronnie's not lying, he's just doing what a lot of people do which is putting too much trust in body fat percentage readings. These numbers are so ridiculous that he might just be misremembering the actual results, but it's important to understand that all body fat testing methods have a decent margin for error, some more than others, and they're ultimately just estimates. Even DEXA, which is generally considered the gold standard, can be off by several percent. Not just because of machine error, but because your body fat percentage depends on both your fat mass and lean body mass. And since "lean body mass" is just everything that isn't fat, factors like hydration status and food in your digestive system at any given time will influence the final number. And don't even get me started on the body fat scales at the gym which use a method called "bioelectrical impedance" and can literally be off by 10 percent or more. The good news though is that none of this actually matters in practice
