Taking a natural testosterone booster to build muscle is like peeing into a lake and expecting it to overflow. Technically the water level rises, but not enough to matter in the real world. Some over-the-counter ingredients might produce a modest increase in testosterone (such as ashwagandha, tongkat ali or fenugreek), but not enough to noticeably impact body composition. If you feel like you got a small mood or libido boost and that carried over positively to your training, fair enough. I can’t really argue with that or know whether it’s real or just placebo. But that’s very different from the way most test boosters are marketed. If you want to naturally support healthy testosterone levels, focus on the basics: - Consistent training - Healthy body fat levels - A micronutrient-rich diet with sufficient fat - Proper sleep - Stress management One exception worth mentioning on the supplement side is correcting micronutrient deficiencies. Inadequate vitamin D, zinc or magnesium
